Day 2 - Prepare for resume
For day 2, we are going to learn more about each other in the class.
After that, we will have a chance to be familiar with the “dual platform”
in the lab. Since throughout this semester, we will be working with both
PC station and Mac station, it is important for you to be familiar with
using them.
Also, we will be setting up your keydrive. You will need one “EDIT
2000 assignment“ folder in your keydrive. Whenever you finish your work
during the classes, please save the file in that folder.
There is one very important task for us today. In order for me to learn
more about you and to get a head start on your first project, you will
need to submit a professional resume. You’ll want everything to look
professional, so use a resume template for PCs or a resume template
for Macs. Please remember that your resume must include:
• Objectives
• Grade Level and Subject Area you want to teach
• Education
• Work Experience
• Honors and Awards
• Computer Skills/Special Skills
• Personal Interests
• Professional References
Assignment/Readings:
1. Please send me your photos for class photo before Thursday night at 9.
2. If you don't have Gmail account, please email me for the invitation. You
need to have Gmail account for Friday's Class.
3. Download a template and create a resume. Turn in a hard copy of your
resume on Friday at the begining of the class.
Some more information for RESUME:
1. If you are not an education major, please create the resume for looking
for a job in your major.
