By now, you should have already submitted your PowerPoint Game Project to yichunhong@gmail.com with subject as pptgame_yourname. If you don’t submit your project on time, please submit your late pass for additional 48 hours working time.

Concept Mapping Tool - Inspiration / Kidspiration
Your understanding of learning theory and technology integration has come together. In the beginning of the semester, we learned technology tools can be used in conjunction with good teaching strategies to address various learning styles and students’ needs. Today we will be looking at visual learning software - Inspiration and Kidspiration. Both tools allow PreK-12 students to see a concept and its connecting themes and ideas. You'll create an activity for your subject area/grade level. You'll need to find outmore information about Kidspiration and Inspiration software and read more about the Kidspiration and Inspiration assignment beforegetting started on your project.If you want to get a concrete picture of how your Inspiration/Kidspiration project look like, you can view sample projects here.
In order to help you quickly learn the basic features of Inspiration, working with a partner and creating a diagram in Inspiration similar to the one shown in today's class. Learn to explore a new software by yourself is also a very important skill that you need in order to survive in this high-tech era.

For Friday’s Class:
Think about a topic or curriculum standards that you want to address for your Inspiration/Kidspiration project. We will begin to work on that. For your Inspiration/Kidspiration project, it will be due on Wednesday, March 21.
