Web Resource
Today we will have one of the librarians, Nadine Cohen, give a lecture to our class about web resources. She will introduce where to locate the teaching / learning material for K-12 students and teachers, and how to evaluate the web resources. Since our next project is WebQuest project and you will be required to find web resources for your target audiences in your project, please seize this opportunity to ask any questions regaring your WebQuest resources. I believe Nadine's expertise will be of great help for your project.PLEASE BE NOTICED that the class will meet at SLC (Rm 368) at our scheduled time. If you go to our lab in Aderhold and miss the class, you will still be counted as an absence. Hopefully, I will see y'all there.
Preparation for WebQuest project:
Go to THIS website and read the following topics: 1) What is a WebQuest? 2) What are the essential parts of a WebQuest? 3) What are some critical perspectives? Make sure you read the assigned articles before you come to class.
